Bodegas Centro Españolas was founded in 1991 by 14 shareholders from Tomelloso, with an advanced and avant-garde technology. Established to develop a new concept of wine producing industry in La Mancha.

70% of the production belongs to our own vineyards, which are ground in Tomelloso (243 has.). There are different grape varieties although the most important is tempranillo witch forms the base of our red wines Allozo, whose medium plantation is from 1986 over a clayey and calcareous ground with a medium altitude of 650 mts. And a medium pluviometry of 400 mm a year. Our main country hoses are: HUERTA EL JUEZ, LA CARRIZA, PINILLA, CASA PUEBLA y SANTA MARIA.

Picked by hand and selected the grapes at the optimum moment of maturing, every vintage is started in our installations of modern technology, pneumatic presses, fermentation controlled in all our steel tanks and after a fermentation and maceration suitable for every kind of wine we can achieve the highest level of our grape varieties where we can see the tenderness and care which the vine grower and wine maker put in the process of elaboration of our wines.

2600 American and 550 French oak barrels are used for ageing which our wines mature slowly with wood and develop a variety of sensations that we will discover with all our senses.

In bottle the wine gets balance and maturing. We have a system of our own wine racks with more than 800000 bottles necessary for our limited productions to be in the market at the optimum moment.

All the productions is comercialized in bottles: 85% Red, 12% White and 3% rose wines. 70% Exported to 20 countries (UE, Canada, USA, Japan, Brazil…).

This idea of establishing the first great wine producing industry of ageing in La Mancha is going to be completed with de historical recuperation of one of the cultural and worldwide traditions in Tomelloso: The old Casajuana Brandy.

This Brandy was created in 1892 by the Casajuana Family, getting its great boom in the 1950 ´s and being sold around the country. This prestigious brand has been reborn after resting more than 100 years in oak barrels.

Since its creation in 1530 and because of the enterprising character of our people, Tomelloso has been one of the most important towns in the elaboration of Brandy. Thus, the complex process of making began with the selection of the best “AIREN” grapes in order to get wines of low strength and good total acidity with witch, and by means of a soft distillation and a constant temperature, we can get the best distillates and Holandas (Brandies of 65-70 degrees with a big content of aromatic components), which then are subject to a special breeding through the system of “SOLERAS” and “CRIADERAS” in American oak leather wine bottles in our pavilion of elaboration, where we keep a stable temperature and humidity, as well as a high ventilation. The process of oxidation is produced in the leather wine bottles.

Moreover they award the Brandy aromas and tannins natural for the oak, which give the final result of our brandy, a centenary old-established brand which dates from 1892.
